Matlama Basotho Heritage Blanket

The Matlama Basotho Heritage blanket features a striking border pattern with a plain reversible centre. It is the only Basotho blanket designed this way.

Traditionally the fringed version is worn by women during the wedding ceremony, however the bound version of the Matlama was recently introduced by Aranda and is predominantly worn by men.

Available in a range of vibrant colours, the Matlama measures 155cm x 165cm and is crafted from a premium blend of 50% Merino wool and 50% Dralon acrylic. This combination ensures both warmth and durability, making it a perfect blend of heritage and comfort.
