About Us
Aranda Textile Mills (Pty) Ltd is a fourth generation Italian owned family
business situated in Randfontein, South Africa. Aranda has been producing quality
blankets and throws since 1951.
Aranda continues to offer the market the highest quality blankets and throws in
innovative fashion and classic designs. This combined with a commitment to ongoing
product development has enabled us to secure our place in the competitive global
market.
The two modernized factories encompass no less than seventeen acres (69000 sqm)
under roof, where state-of-the-art technology is utilized in a vertical operation,
consisting of fibre dyeing, spinning, jacquard and dobby weaving, finishing, make-up
and warehousing. Aranda produces millions of blankets per annum and employs a staff
complement of approximately one thousand people.
Aranda produces some of the finest furpile products in the world today, especially
as a result of the creation of the new 'Touch Me' range of Blankets/Throws. The
superior soft finish of this product is unique to Aranda and makes it stand out
amongst the world's best. Top Suede and the new Lusso continues to take the market
by storm with its light weight, luxurious soft suede finish in co-ordinated fashion
ranges.
Our products are distributed throughout Southern Africa, America and Europe via
the major retail chains and many independent wholesalers and retailers. Aranda's
major strengths lie in its superior quality, creative design capabilities and ability
to provide effective customer service. These strengths are the important pillars
which makes us a globally competitive company able to export our products to selected
markets around the world.
